Zoom level 0 is the zoom level where Earth’s South and North poles are visible independently of: -screen’s dimension and dpi -map (SVS) resolution Zoom level n = twice the scale of zoom level n-1. In other words the number of meters per pixel at zoom level n is half the number of meters at zoom level n-1.
