# EV vehicle brands

> **List vehicle brands for trip planning.** The electric vehicle brands electric trip planning knows, so a driver can pick theirs.

Returns the list of available vehicle brands.

Requires the EV smart routing option (Allow to compute a trip for a electric vehicle); without it BeMap answers `400 Access Denied`.

## Response

`200`, schema `VehicleBrandsResponse`.

- `brands` (BrandInfo[], required): A list of brands.
  - `id` (string, required): Id of brand.ID that can be used in API `findvehicles` and `getlevelvehicleinfo` to get the vehicle models of that brand.
  - `label` (string, required): Name of brand. commercial brand name.

## Errors

- `400`: Bad Request
- `302`: no credentials were sent. Do not follow the redirect.
- `401`: the account or the API key is wrong.
